Satellite Station was now Wrexham. 31/01/44 to 21/06/45, No 11 (P) AFU moved here with Oxfords from Shawbury. Later equipped with Masters then Ansons, Harvards and Hurricanes. Sqn disbanded here. 21/06/45 to 10/45, Station became 5 ACHU (Aircrew Holding Unit). 22/10/45 to 05/46, 22 Service Flying Training School formed here with Harvards, moved to Ouston. |
