30/11/1943 to 06/07/1945, 712th, 713th, 714th and 715th Bomb Squadrons of the 448th Bomb Group (H) with B-24 Liberators.
First mission flown 22/12/1943, the last on 25/04/1945, the 448th BG flew a total of 262 missions.
/1945 to /1959, airfield used by the RAF for bomb storage until final closure.
