History:
1931-36, Used as a civil aerodrome, also known as Dolley's Farm.
/10/1937 to /05/1947, Airfield rebuilt with more hangars and buildings and opened as No. 18 Elementary and Reserve Flying Training School with DH Tiger Moths run by Universal Flying Services.
/09/1939, Combined with No. 19 E&RFTS from Gatwick and renamed Elementary Flying Training School.
/05/1947 to /07/1953, Renamed No. 18 Reserve Flying School with DH Chipmunks and Avro Ansons, airfield sold in 1967.
1945 to present, Fairoaks airport.
